Grand Rapids Ballet opens its Dancers’ Theatre Series with "In A Nutshell" on November 15th through the 18th in the Peter Martin Wege Theatre at the Meijer-Royce Center for Dance. This comedic spoof of The Nutcracker features a 16-piece jazz band on stage with the dancers performing Duke Ellington’s energetic rendition of the Nutcracker Suite. WYCE is proud to present Alice Peacock and Peter Bradley Adams in the second-to-last show in this fall's FREE Hat Trick Concert Series. Alice Peacock is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter known for her "new-millenium pop-folk" style. Peter Bradley Adams is another powerful singer-songwriter, and founder of the southern folk-rock duo "Eastmountainsouth". At this Hat Trick Concert, we will pass the hat for the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan's "Live, Laugh, Love Education Program," designed to remove the stigma attached to seeking mental health treatment. Alice Peacock and Peter Bradley Adams perform on Monday, November 5th at 7:30 p.m. All Hat Trick shows take place at One Trick Pony, 136 E. Fulton St. in downtown Grand Rapids. The fall Hat Trick series is presented by Rockford Construction and the Wheeler Family Foundation. Support is provided by Mark Swanson, maker of acoustic instruments, including guitars and bouzoukis.
