Music You Don't Know You Like Yet

Wax Tailor

Phonovisions Symphonic Orchestra

2015-03-24

Wax Tailor has achieved what many hip-hop producers have undoubtedly dreamed of: performing with a full symphony orchestra. This live double-album and DVD combo features 27 tracks highlighting Wax Tailor’s 4 album releases over the past 10 years, recorded at The Sebastopol Theatre in Lille, France. A 35 piece orchestra and 17 person choir blend with the producer’s heavy use of samples, classic record-scratching techniques, and the vocal talents of singer-songwriters Charlotte Savary, Ali Harter, rappers Mattic, Speech Defect, and more. Phonovisions Symphonic Orchestra brings hip-hop back to basics with a fresh twist - a must-listen for all Wax Tailor and hip-hop fans.
