W@W December - Swing Night (click for more info)
For WYCE's December Wednesdays at Wealthy showcase, we'll present two local bands putting a modern spin on classic swing styles. The night starts off with The Djangotones, a group of young gents who specialize in gypsy swing, following in the tradition of jazz guitar great Django Reinhardt. Then, one of West Michigan's favorite acts, Steppin' In It, will take the stage. Steppin' In It blends blues, ragtime, jazz and roots music into a delicious musical stew. WYCE's Swing Night takes place at Wealthy Theatre on Wednesday, December 10th. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music will start at 7:00. Tickets for WYCE's Swing Night with The Djangotones and Steppin In It' are $5 in advance and $7 at the door - available online at WYCE.org and at the Wealthy Theatre box office. One hundred percent of the proceeds support WYCE. This show is made possible with support from The Black Rose Irish Pub. Additional support comes Ether Lan Portal.
