The 2008 Annual AIDS Walk will take place across Michigan on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28. Rosa Parks Circle will be the meeting place for the walk in Grand Rapids. Registration will start at 9:00am and the walk begins at 11:00am.The annual AIDS Walk helps to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and simultaneously helps raise funds for local AIDS services. A hat will be passed to benefit Catherine's Care Center, a free health clinic that strives to improve health in the Creston and Belknap neighborhoods and beyond through screenings, education, referrals and by acting as a gateway to primary health care services.
