As many as 1 in 8 adults in west Michigan cannot read or write above a ninth grade level.  Low literacy often prevents these individuals from accessing the rich social and economic resources in our community.  


You can make a difference by becoming a tutor.  No special skills are needed - just an ability to read and write in English and a passion to help someone else do the same.

WYCE will be putting on a one day music sale on Saturday, September 20th at the Eastown Streetfair, which is held on Wealthy Street between Atlas and Lake. We've been taking donations of gently used music of all varieties throughout the summer, and inventory is very low.
