W@W Franti (click for more info)
Wednesdays at Wealthy is a weekly series of films, discussions, performances and other community events held at the Community Media Center's Wealthy Theatre. The second Wednesday of each month is "WYCE at Wealthy." This month, we'll present a screening of the documentary "I Know I'm Not Alone", which tells the story of musician Michael Franti's trip to Iraq and the Middle East, trying to find the stories behind the news coverage -- and to get to know the people of the world's most war-torn region. The documentary was an accompaniment to Michael Franti & Spearhead's award-winning album "Yell Fire!", and features the band's music throughout. WYCE at Wealthy's presentation of "I Know I'm Not Alone" takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13th, in the Koning Micro-Cinema at Wealthy Theatre, 1130 Wealthy Street southeast. Admission is free.

Our volunteers are what make WYCE "the greatest little radio station on the planet." To find out how you can volunteer for WYCE, visit www.grcmc.org/volunteer.
