Blood drive thanks (click for more info)
WYCE and the Michigan Community Blood Centers would like to thank WYCE's listeners for making our recent "Hot Fun in the Summertime" blood drive a big success.
We brought in 125 potential donors, and were able to successfully draw 95 pints of life-saving blood. Ten of those were first-time donors, so we send an extra big thank-you out to the newcomers.
If you weren't able to make it down to the drive, you can always stop in anytime to make a donation at 1036 Fuller Avenue Northeast. Blood supplies are always low in the summer, and every drop can help to save a life. Thanks!
