The Floating Men-Hat Trick Concert (click for more info)
WYCE's Spring Hat Trick Concert series continues with The Floating Men. Since forming in 1990, Nashville legends The Floating Men have become one of the most influential indie acts in the Eastern US, releasing seven critically-acclaimed studio albums. Their songs are covered by young performers all over the country, their lyrics are discussed in college classrooms, and they have inspired innumerable songwriters, musicians, and poets. You can become part of their enthusiastic fan base called the "Floatilla". As with all the Hat Trick Concerts, a hat will be passed to benefit a local non-profit, this time it will benefit Gilda's Club, an organization that offers support for people living with cancer. The Floating Men perform at One Trick Pony, Monday, May 19th at 7:30 p.m. The Hat Trick Concert Series is presented by the law firm of Rhoades McKee. Lodging is provided by Peaches Bed & Breakfast. Sound engineering is provided by Mark Swanson. More information about all our concerts is available at wyce.org.
