House concerts... (click for more info)
How would you like to have a professional chef come to your house, cook dinner for you and 10 friends, then sit down to enjoy a night of live music in your living room? During WYCE's spring fund drive, you have the chance to do just that! Over the course of our drive, we will auction off packages including private house concerts, in-home chef dinners, and wine and beer tastings. We'll put one artist-and-chef package up for bids each day of the drive, with the final auction on Thursday the 10th. On Tuesday, April 8th, we have a night of rowdy rockabilly fun up for bids, with a house concert by Truckstop Cobras, and a backyard BBQ from Blaine Davis of Teazer's Bar & Grille. The bidding ends at 7:30 p.m., so call in now to make your bid! 742-9923.

March Music Madness (click for more info)
Throughout the month of March, WYCE is pleased to bring you music from some of your favorite artists -- and a chance to win their music and more! WYCE's "March Music Madness" is a light-hearted alternative to the basketball tournament that grabs so many people's attention this time of year. In OUR musical "tournament", you choose your favorite performers from a field of 64 of WYCE's top bands and artists. One grand prize winner will get a collection of music from the listeners' overall #1 artist, donated by Vertigo Music. The Grand Prize winner will also receive a pair of tickets to the Rothbury Music Fesival, featuring WYCE favorites like Keller Williams, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Taj Mahal, The Black Keys and dozens more. WYCE listener-sponsors will receive an official entry form in the mail, as part of our Fast Forward quarterly newsletter. Entry forms and official rules are also available at the Community Media Center at 711 Bridge St. No purchase - or donation - is necessary to enter. Thanks for listening to WYCE, and enjoy March Music Madness!
