WYCE and Calvin College present gospel and soul legend Mavis Staples, in concert on February 20th. On this tour, Mavis Staples is reworking decades worth of her own original material as well as that of her family's band -- the Staples Singers. She performs with a full band, bridging many styles of music, from Gospel to R&B to Blues. Mavis Staples will play at Calvin College Fine Arts Center on Wednesday, February 20th at 8:00pm. This will be an evening of music and dance paying tribute to the king of Reggae music.
