Final Hat Trick show - Danny Flowers (click for more info)
WYCE announces the final show in this fall's FREE Hat Trick Concert Series: a special performance by Danny Flowers on Monday, November 19th. Danny Flowers is a dynamic solo artist who fills a room with his presence. He'd had a long and varied musical career, although he has received the most acclaim for writing the song "Tulsa Time," which Eric Clapton made into a hit single in the late 1970s. Flowers also played guitar on several Nancy Griffith records. Danny Flowers performs Monday, November 19th at 7:30 p.m. We will pass a hat to raise funds for the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding. All Hat Trick shows take place at One Trick Pony, 136 E. Fulton St. in downtown Grand Rapids. The fall Hat Trick series is presented by Rockford Construction and the Wheeler Family Foundation. Support is provided by Mark Swanson, maker of acoustic instruments, including guitars and bouzoukis. More information about all of our concerts can be found at wyce.org.
