Hat Trick Abra Moore (click for more info)
WYCE announces the return of the Hat Trick Concert Series on September 10th at 7:30pm at One Trick Pony, 136 E. Fulton in downtown Grand rapids. The first show of the series features a performance from Abra Moore and Will Sexton. Abra can hardly be considered an emerging artist, she is a founding member of Poi Dog Pondering, with a grammy nomination for her release Strangest Places. Moore’s songs have appeared in more than 25 films and television shows. A Hat will be passed that evening to benefit Kids’ Food Basket. A program that fights hunger and malnutrition by providing take-home dinners for undernourished children in Grand Rapids Public Schools. The Hat Trick series is presented by Rockford Construction and The Wheeler Family Foundation, with support from Mark Swanson, maker of acoustic stringed instruments including guitars and bazoukis.
