The Momentum Center for Social Engagement is a social and recreational program for people with mental illness, addiction, and disabilities. Members build community while participating in baking, yoga, meditation, outings around West Michigan, and more. Housed within the Momentum Center at 714 Columbus in Grand Haven is Just Goods Gifts and Cafe, where fair trade items are available, as well as local beverages and bakery treats. 

The Momentum Center is operated by Extended Grace, a nonprofit grassroots social lab that believes all can thrive when we extend a little more grace to each other.

Blues Spotlight: Country Blues Guitarist Charley Jordan Is One Of The Many Major Figures In The Blues Of Whom We Know Surprisingly Little. He Played A Clean, Three-Finger Style That Owed A Good Deal To Ragtime, Recording Extensively During The 1930's Usually Alongside Peetie Wheatshaw. In 1928 Jordan Was Shot In The Spine Due To His Parallel Career As A Bootlegger, Leaving Him On Crutches And A Performing Career Greatly Curtailed. During His Time As A Talent Scout For Vocalion Records, He And Big Joe Williams Ran A Rehearsal Studio In St. Louis That Became A Mecca For Visiting Bluesmen Preparing To Record In The City. Charley Jordan Passed On in 1954.
