Cabin Fever - (click for more info)
WYCE and the West Michigan Blues Society announce the Cabin Fever Blues Series, sponsored by the law firm of Varnum, Riddering, Schmidt & Howlett. The Series wraps up with a performance by Eddie Shaw and his band The Wolfgang on Saturday, February 24th. From the South Side of Chicago, Eddie Shaw spent a year with Muddy Waters before joining Howling Wolf's Band in the seventies. Shaw compares his own saxophone playing with that of a good preacher's delivery, "I try to have a good attack, don't try to play a lot of notes, try to stay with the basics and tell a good story." The Cabin Fever Blues series is a fundraiser for the West Michigan Blues Society and WYCE. For more information, see the concerts section at wyce.org.
