WYCE celebrates the 8th Annual WYCE Jammie Awards, presented by Koeze's Cream-Nut Peanut Butter. The Jammies is a chance to meet WYCE programmers and to celebrate local talent with free live music. With more than 15 local bands performing, the evening's lineup starts off strong. Ralston Bowles begins the show at 6:00 with his "Jammies Song", followed by The Lash, Ben & Bruno and Seth Bernard & Daisy May -- all in the first hour! A full performance schedule is available at WYCE.org. The Jammies is a free show at The Intersection Lounge, Tuesday, February 13th starting at 6:00 p.m. Listeners who show up dressed in pajamas will get a free CD. WMEAC and the city of Grand Rapids are looking for volunteers to present to Grand Rapids area schools using Enviroscapes. Enviroscapes are great tools that allow us to show exactly where the water goes. Volunteers should have a basic understanding of ecology and be willing to work with K-12 students.
