Fountain Street/ Appalachian Presentation (click for more info)
PSA-Fountain Street/ Appalachian Presentation A presentation on Mountain Top Removal coal mining will be held at Fountain Street Church on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m. This form of strip mining creates huge ecological problems. The presentation will be by the group "Appalachian Voices," , they are touring the nation to develop support for legislation which protect streams from the dumping. It is co-sponsored by Fountain Street Church's Social Action Committee and the West Michigan Environmental Action Council. For information, contact SocialAction@fountainstreet.org
