Circle Pines Center is hosting Create-A-Thon 2006, a weekend to paint, take pictures, compose music, write or otherwise create to your heartâs content. Create-A-Thon 2006 takes place Friday, September 29th through Sunday, October 1st.
The Circle Pines Center is located in southwestern Michigan near Gun Lake and the Yankee Springs Recreation area. The weekend includes food and lodging amidst orchards, paths through the forest, a lake and meadows.

THIS WEEK is a busy one for WYCE's concert calendar!
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band is back to West Michigan! The band will play an 8pm all-ages show at Ground Sphere Cafe in Allegan on Tuesday, September 5th. Directions to this new venue are posted for your convenience on the WYCE "upcoming concerts" page at www.WYCE.org.
This Friday Night, September 8th, WYCE welcomes Paul Thorn back to Grand Rapids for a solo acoustic performance at The Intersection's front lounge! Show begins at 9:30PM, and WYCE would like to let you know that this intimate front lounge show will be sound-insulated from the rest of the venue that evening by a big steel door.
On Saturday September 9th, Melissa Ferrick will be at The Intersection Main Stage for a 10 p.m. CD release show. She'll be joined by guest artist Dayna Kurtz, who will also be featured in this fall's Hat Trick Concert Series. Kurtz will be in-studio Saturday afternoon, stay tuned for more info.
