Meijer Gardens Summer Concert Series and WYCE welcome Conor Oberst with Dawes - live in concert, Thursday, July 31st.
Conor Oberst may be best known for his work with Bright Eyes, with whom he released 9 albums from the mid-90s. His new solo album Upside Down Mountain was released in May.
Oberst will be backed by Los Angeles, California folk rock band Dawes, who will also perform their original "authentically vintage" songs.

WYCE and Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park present Tuesday Evening Music Club!
This Tuesday, August 5th, Meijer Gardens welcomes classic rock band Mid-Life Crisis and the funk-and-soul of Serita's Black Rose.
The summer concert series allows visitors of all ages to enjoy the talent of local musicians, beautiful summer weather and the ambience of Meijer Gardens' sculpture and gardens. The entire facility will be open to visitors until 9 PM on concert nights. Guests can bring picnic food or enjoy amphitheater concessions.
Concerts are free with paid admission to Meijer Gardens and all Tuesday Evening Music Club concerts begin at 7 pm.

The John Butler Trio is an Australian roots and jam band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler. The band has won 5 ARIA awards, celebrating the best in Australian music, including Best Independent Release and Best Blues & Roots Album.
