Critical Mass Bike Ride (click for more info)
Critical Mass is a monthly mass bike ride that takes place in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. On the last Friday of each month, cyclists ride through the streets of Grand Rapids at rush hour to show that bikes are traffic and have a legitimate right to be in the street. The next ride is scheduled for Friday, September 28th at 5:30pm. Riders will begin assembling at Veteran's Park (at the corner of Fulton and Sheldon) in downtown Grand Rapids beginning at 5:15pm.

The Red Thread Project will feature 500 hats in the public performance scheduled for 7:00 pm on Friday, June 30 at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids. The hats will be attached to a knitted red cord measuring over a half-mile long.
