Meijer Gardens - Jimmy Cliff (click for more info)
WYCE joins Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in welcoming Jimmy Cliff to the Summer Concert Series. 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of "The Harder They Come" - the Jamaican crime drama that introduced Jimmy Cliff to the world, and helped introduce reggae music to an audience outside of the islands where it was born. As testament to his influence on the world of music, Jimmy Cliff was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, at which point he kicked off a major world tour. Jimmy Cliff live at Meijer Gardens, Wednesday, June 13th. Tickets and more information at MEIJER-GARDENS-DOT-O-R-G.
