On Wednesday is the local premiere of "Women.Art.Revolution", an internationally acclaimed documentary about feminist art. On Thursday, ArtPeers explores sustainability issues for local artists with a discussion titled "Build The Guild: Healthcare". Friday brings the return of Salmagundi - an event that combines live local music with orignal dance pieces by local choreographers. And finally, on Saturday, the ArtPeers Fall Festival 2011 itself – Wealthy Street businesses become art galleries on this third annual East Side event, free to all! WYCE is pleased to once again partner with the Eastown Community Association for the 2011 Eastown Street Fair. This annual celebration of the Eastown neighborhood - including its arts, crafts, food and music - will be even bigger and better this year. Sixteen Michigan bands will perform on two stages. Nearly 90 booths featuring some of the finest artists and crafts persons from all over Michigan will line the streets. And, of course, WYCE will be on hand with our famous Record and CD Sale. The 38th Annual Eastown Street Fair. Saturday, September 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wealthy Street between Lake and Atlas.
