Afie Jurvanen, known by his stage name BAHAMAS, is a Canadian musician, best known for the 2009 album Pink Strat, which was nominated for a Juno Award for 'Solo Roots & Traditional Album of the Year'. The Ontario singer-songwriter has worked with such musicians as Feist, Howie Beck, Jason Collett and Zeus. Recommended minimum donation is $10 to the evening's nonprofit, Specialized Language Development Center, bringing the power of reading, writing and spelling to individuals with dyslexia or other unique learning styles.
