Following a sold out WYCE show in 2006, The TARBOX RAMBLERS will make their return to Grand Rapids and Jukes Bar on Wednesday May 2. The Tarbox Ramblers have added a third member, and a number of new songs. All Music Guide calls their music a "train wreck of swamp blues, hillbilly, gospel, and woolly folk." Tickets for the Tarbox Ramblers are available at Jukes Bar, on Leonard St just west of 131, and at Vertigo Music. Doors at 6pm, show at 8. WYCE's Hat Trick Concert continues with our third show featuring Rachel Sage on Monday April 23rd at 7:30pm at One Trick Pony. An East Village songstress, poet and multi-media maven Rachael Sage will be traveling with her drummer this time and has included us in her national tour. During this show we will pass the hat for Mixed Greens, an organization that teaches children about whole foods, gardening and nutrition. The Hat Trick series is presented by the law firm of Rhoades McKee, with support from Mark Swanson, maker of acoustic stringed instruments including guitars and bazoukis.
