WYCE is proud to bring three more shows to Grand Rapids in April! Coming up this Monday April 17 The John Butler Trio with special guest Jeff Lang will take the stage at 8:00PM at the Calvin College Fine Arts Center. Australian-born musician John Butler plays an eclectic jam band style that fuses blues, reggae, classic country, Appalachian folk, funk, and hip hop. Australian Singer/songwriter Jeff Lang will open the show this Monday. The Bad Plus will appear at Top of the B.O.B. on April 27 with two shows, as part of the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival. They represent the very best of the younger generation of jazz artists, testing limits of what an acoustic bass-piano-drums trio can accomplish. The Bad Plus will play at 7pm and at 9:30pm on April 27. And then Sunday April 30, for the first time since 1995, The Wailers, Bob Marley's Legendary Band, are back on tour and will appear at the Intersection in an 8pm show. The Wailers now consist of original members who recorded and/or toured with Bob Marley and the Wailers. Ages 18 and up are welcome on Sunday April 30. Additional concert details are available through the WYCE concert line: 616-459-4788 Ext. 110, or at WWW.WYCE.ORG. (Please play a track from one of the bands) (Check the concert giveaway clipboard for tickets to see if you have tickets to give away)
