As many as 1 in 8 adults in west Michigan cannot read or write above a ninth grade level.  Low literacy often prevents these individuals from accessing the rich social and economic resources in our community.  


You can make a difference by becoming a tutor.  No special skills are needed - just an ability to read and write in English and a passion to help someone else do the same.

WYCE welcomes the return of the 18th annual Dunegrass Music Festival, August 6th through 8th at the foot of the Sleeping Bear Dunes in Empire, Michigan.
