Chris Isaak

Wicked Game
Heart Shaped World 1989 via Reprise / Wea
a note about this track

This song is written in the mode of B Dorian. Despite being released as a single in 1989, it didn't become a hit until it was later featured in the David Lynch film Wild at Heart. Lee Chesnut, an Atlanta radio station music director who was obsessed with David Lynch films, began playing the song and it quickly became a nationwide top ten hit in January 1991, reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the only hit song of his career in the U.S.

Carol's Ferals is here to help YOU help cats in YOUR neighborhood. Carol's Ferals loans live traps, teaches you how to use them and offers suggestions on how to trap the hardest to catch cats. The practice of T-N-R (Trap-Neuter-Return) is the most humane way to deal with free-roaming cats both feral and stray. Carol's Ferals offers spay and neuter surgeries for trapped ferals at a significantly reduced rate, and funding is in place to help cats in certain areas. More information is available at carolsferals.org or email info@carolsferals.org
