Community Story Tree (click for more info)
The Community Media Center is proud to present the Community Story Tree Project. This video project is a collection of 25 joyful, heart-breaking, touching, funny, and wise stories told by ordinary folk who live throughout Grand Rapids. The free event is open to anyone interested in learning about the unique individuals living around us and how their experience has been woven into the fabric of our city. You can also learn how to become a story-teller or story-collector and become a part of the continuation of this project. Stories help define who we are and how we connect as a community. Watch and listen as we share the moments they have treasured and the lessons they have learned. The Community Story Tree Project, debuting at Wealthy Theatre on Wednesday, September 30th at 7pm.
