88.1FM WYCE and One Trick Pony Grill and Taproom present the Fall 2009 Hat Trick Concert Series! This free Monday night concert series brings nationally-touring acts to Grand Rapids in support of a non-profit organization working in your community. A hat is passed to collect money for the evening's charity. The season begins Monday, September 14th with a performance by Round Mountain. These two multi-instrumentalist brothers come armed with sounds from all around the world and original tunes that borrow from ageless styles. The Hat Trick Concert series is once again made possible with support from The Law Firm of Rhodes McKee with lodging provided by Peaches Bed and Breakfast and audio support from Mark Swanson. Details on the Fall 2009 Hat Trick Concert series and the Round Mountain concert September 14th at One Trick Pony are available on our website - wyce.org!

The first-year festival will feature seven live music acts, seasonal microbrews, food and other activities. Performers include Spencer Mulder, The Ragbirds, and Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band. The Eastown Streetfair celebrates in 36th year in September! This celebration of arts, crafts, food, music, and the Eastown neighborhood will be bigger than ever this year. Many West Michigan bands will perform on two stages and more than 75 booths featuring artists and crafts from all over Michigan will line the streets. In addition, all of Eastown’s retail and dining establishments will be open for business with ‘Streetfair’ specials. The 36th Annual Eastown Streetfair will take place on Saturday September 19th, along Wealthy Street between Atlas and Lake from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. More information can be found at eastown.org

Jake’s Music Festival returns to Wealthy Theatre, celebrating five years of great music for a great cause. Local bands Chance Jones, Spencer Mulder, Igby Iris and the Backstrokes will get together for a concert to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Other performers include the Grand Rapids School of Rock, Five Leaf Clover, Karisa Wilson and Todd Herring. The show takes place September 19th at the Wealthy Theatre located at 1130 Wealthy SE.
