The Community Media Center presents a one-time only make up and effects workshop presented by New York City artists Paul J. Mason and Chelsea Manifold. This workshop will cover straight make up for film and video, including cuts and bruises, characters and aging, and zombie and blood effects. This pre-party includes performances from Grand Rapids' own Ultraviolet Hippopotamus and E.O.T.O., featuring members of String Cheese Incident. The party starts when the doors open at 8:00pm, and continues within walking distance at Founders Brewing Company following the show, where "PAPA-DOUGH-ZHO" will keep the music going through the night.
