The Spring 2009 Hat Trick Concert Series continues TONIGHT with Paleface!
Schooled personally by Daniel Johnston, Paleface was discovered at an NYC open mic in 1990. He soon became the first Anti-folk artist signed to major labels, followed by college radio hits and national tours with the likes of Billy Bragg and The Breeders.
This show benefits the DAAC (Division Ave. Arts Cooperative), representing the community with open and accessible involvement through art and music, valuing new and different creative perspectives.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park presents the Butterflies are Blooming exhibit, the largest seasonal butterfly exhibit in the United States.
Over a period of eight weeks, thousands of tropical butterflies flit and flutter in the tropical habitat of The Lena Meijer Conservatory. The exhibition boasts more than 40 different species from the Far East, Africa and Central America.
Butterflies are Blooming is happening now and continues through April.

Wealthy Theatre and Local First present "The Walkies" film series!
On Friday May 8th, the John Cusack film, "High Fidelity," will be shown at Wealthy Theatre at 8pm. High Fidelity follows the 'mid-life' crisis of Rob, a thirty-something record-store owner who must face the undeniable facts - he's growing up.
The Walkies are more than just movies, they are a spotlight on local businesses including Brick Road Pizza, The Meanwhile Bar, Sandmann's and The Winchester; which are all within walking distance from Wealthy Theatre.
