Calibro 35 is a cinematic funk Italian band formed in 2007 in Milan for what was supposed to be a five days long one-off studio project re-recording obscure music from Italian exploitation and spaghetti western movie soundtracks.

Calibro 35's cinematic music includes elements belonging from a wide range of music including funkrockjazz and improvisation.

The band lasted well beyond their original one off project and have gone on to record numerous albums and several movie soundtracks. Different songs from the band have been sampled into hip hop productions including Dr. Dre's "Compton" and Jay Z's "Picasso Baby".

They have played numerous festivals and had opening spots for Muse and Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings.

Their latest release "Momentum" was recently added to the WYCE Music Library.
