This episode of Electric Poetry, which aired on 8/21/18, features three poems and an interview with Kyler Wescott Krieg! We talk about loss, inspiration, and always being prepared for when a poem "hits"! About the poet: Kyler Wescott Krieg, born in 1986, grew up in Lowell, MI. He traveled a bit of the world for ten years and just moved back to Grand Rapids to be near his roots. He’s written poetry since the age of 14 and had his first book “Differences Diffused” published in 2015. The theme beneath the words surrounds perspective and encourages the acceptance of the beauty of difference. Kyler continues to write when inspired and even when he’s not. He looks forward to adding to his collection of poetic pieces and finds a depth of satisfaction knowing that any of what he’s written reaches the hearts of his readers.
