Bernard Allison made his first appearance on record as a 13-year-old, when he played on a live LP with his father, Chicago blues legend Luther Allison. At age 18, Bernard was asked by Koko Taylor to join her band as lead guitarist. Later stints with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter, then as band leader for his father, prepared Bernard Allison to step out as a solo artist. In 1990, Allison issued The Next Generation, the first of many studio albums.
Bernard Allison is back now with his 14th studio album, Let It Go.
