Psychedelic funk trio Khruangbin have just released their newest album Con Todo El Mundo.
In Thai, Khruangbin translates to “engine fly,” thought the band hails from Texas. The band calls their music psychedelic Thai funk that’s influenced by 1960’s vibes that singer Laura Lee encountered online of uploads of old cassette tapes from Thailand.
Con Todo El Mundo is the group’s second full length album, featuring their trademark bass- driven tracks with ethereal vocals.
Khruangbin is currently touring throughout Europe. They come to the Midwest this spring where they perform at El Club in Detroit on April 18th and Lincoln Hall in Chicago on April 20.
