Blues Music Award-winning soul, blues and R&B vocalist Curtis Salgado teams up with fellow Portland, Oregonian, guitarist Alan Hager, for the new album Rough Cut.

Salgado began his career as vocalist for The Nighthawks. He then joined forces with Robert Cray and sang and played harmonica in The Robert Cray Band for six years, including singing on Cray's debut album, released in 1980. He went on to front Roomful of Blues for a time in the ‘80s before finally settling into his own projects.

After 30 years in the business, Curtis Salgado began to receive accolades for his work, collecting 5 Blues Music Awards this decade, including honors for Entertainer of The Year and Soul Blues Album of the Year for the 2012 Alligator Records release Soul Shot.
