Tonight Founders Brewery will see a performance by Canadian folk duo Kacy & Clayton.

Kacy Anderson and Clayton Linthicum are cousins who grew up in a rural Saskatchewan on a ranch that their family founded in 1911. The duo discovered in 2009 that they both had a love for vintage folk music. They then began playing shows around their hometown and gained a local following.  In 2011 they found a fan in Ryan Boldt, a member of the roots rock band The Deep Dark Woods, who helped spread awareness of the duo.  Their debut album The Day is Past and Gone was released in 2013.

The album gained the duo critical acclaim which grew with their sophomore album 2016's Strange Country.  While performing at the Pickathon festival in Oregon, the duo caught the interest of Wilco front man Jeff Tweedy.  Earlier this year they began recording their third album with Tweedy as producer.  The resulting album The Siren's Song was released in August.

Be sure to tune into WYCE this afternoon at 3:30 as Cassie Leigh hosts a live in-studio performance from Kacy & Clayton!
