Happy birthday to former Men at Work frontman Colin Hay!
Hay's latest solo album Fierce Mercy was released last March. Men at Work was formed in 1978 and found worldwide success in 1983 with songs like “Down Under” and “Who Can It Be Now?”. Men at Work was awarded the Grammy for Best New Artist that very same year. Following the band's breakup in 1986, Hay released his first solo record Looking for Jack in 1987.
Since then Hay has been consistently recording and touring, with Fierce Mercy arriving as his 13th solo album. Hay also toured as a member of Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band and maintained an acting career with guest starring roles on shows like JAG and most memorably on Scrubs.
Colin Hay is currently on tour and will play a concert at 20 Monroe Live on November 1st.
