WYCE Jammie Awards

  • History

Founded in 1999, the WYCE Jammie Awards is an annual celebration of the year’s best Michigan music!

The Jammies ceremony showcases more than 25 local and regional bands performing for a capacity audience in all venues at The Intersection in downtown Grand Rapids.

The event is intended to highlight our diverse, high quality music community, strengthening the relationship between artists and listeners in West Michigan.

Though there is no cover charge, donations are collected at the door so WYCE can continue programming “A World of Music” and hosting great community events like the Jammies.

WYCE also partners with organizations such as Feeding America West Michigan to hold a food drive during the Jammies every year. In 2019, over 200 pounds of food were collected at the Jammie Awards!
