Looking for answers? Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about Wealthy Theatre!

  • Is There Parking Available?

Yes! We have a parking lot available behind (south of) Wealthy Theatre, accessible by Sigsbee St. Grand Rapids City metered parking is also available on Wealthy St. & west parking lot; both are free on evenings and weekends. Bike racks available out front. Wealthy Theatre is also accessible via The Rapid bus route. For overhead parking map, visit our Parking Page.

  • Can I Buy Tickets Over The Phone?

No. Your best bet is to buy your tickets online, or at the door before showtime.

  • Can I Buy A Ticket In-Person?

Wealthy Theatre does not currently have regular box office hours outside of event times. For most events, your best bet is to buy your tickets online, and your tickets will be emailed to you. If the event isn't sold-out, you should be able to buy tickets at the door before the show. For most events, doors open 30-60min before showtime.

Some events that occur at Wealthy Theatre may be handling their own ticketing outside of our system (LaughFest, Section Live Presents, etc...), in which case in-person sales might be available. For those, you may contact event organizer directly.

  • How Does Will-Call Work?

WT has a paperless ticketing system, so most events will email you a ticket digitally after purchase. To be scanned in at box office, you can present your QR code off your phone or printed-out paper from home. We can also look up your tickets by your order name, with ID verification.

For events that are not using WT's ticketing system, will-call should work in the same way.

  • How Is The Seating?

Great! Not a bad seat in the house!

The main auditorium (Peter Wege Auditorium) at Welathy Theatre has a max capacity of 400 audience members. That number can vary depending on the show & use of the space. Seating is usually General Admission (fixed seating, first come first serve), unless noted otherwise in the event description.

The Koning MicroCinema space holds a max of 60 audience members, and is also General Admission (fixed seating).

  • Is Your Building/Venue Wheelchair Accessible?

Yes. There are no stairs to our building's main entrance. All our inside & exterior public areas are accessible via ramp. ADA/Handicap seating is available in all spaces. For the main auditorium - there is reserved open floor space to the left & right of sound board when you walk in. There is a similar area in the front, next to Row B by the stage. For both areas, we can add in free-standing seats for you or your guests as needed. Just ask WT staff/volunteers for assistance. Accessible restrooms are available as well.
