Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish takes full advantage of Rockabilly riffs, Elvis-style vocals, splitting harmonica, and a drummer that won’t allow your hips to stop moving.

Starting with open-mics in Grand Rapids, MI, Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish have pushed forward to perform across the United States. From South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, to basements in NYC, JRCC will never stop bringing their energy to every nook and cranny they've found themselves in.

They have performed with Brian Setzer, J.D. Mcpherson, Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys, The Blackfoot Gypsies and The Delta Bombers.

Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish have won three WYCE Jammies, the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Roots/Revival Album of the Year.

in 2019, they released their fourth studio album, “Love & Luck.” which is nominated for Best Americana/Roots Album, Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year for "Anchor Bartender" which gives a wink and a nod to the infamous bar on Bridge Street here in Grand Rapids.

JRCC will be playing the 21st Annual Jammie Awards, Friday February 14th at The Intersection.
