Last Gasp is an Indie Music collective, originating in South West Michigan. Biography "Sometimes soft, sometimes loud, sometimes smooth, sometimes mature, sometimes childish, sometimes thought provoking. The compelling collection of artist that is Last Gasp has made waves that would leave the pacific envious. There raw yet passion filled live performance have intrigued thousands in a little over a year. Midwest Fest, Lamplight Festival, and the Black Arts Fest have all served host to the band’s groove.

Every year, the Grand Rapids independent radio station WYCE hosts a 5+ hour long award show & concert featuring a long list of favorite Michigan musicians. The Jammie Awards showcase and honor the work of local musicians and producers. The 21st annual show in 2020 hosted over 20 different bands, performing on 3 different stages. A free show for all ages. In the last 20 years, the Jammies have become an opportunity for a variety of local groups to perform under one roof and celebrate the music and community that is made here in Michigan.
