Where

GRTV will be located behind the Festival Main Stage on the North side of Calder Plaza.  Our production tent and red van should be easy to spot. The address is 300 Monroe Ave. NE

Parking

Lot Parking—There is lot parking underneath the Calder Plaza that you can access from Monroe St.  Event parking is $8.

Street Parking—  Street parking is free on Friday after 6pm and all day Saturday and Sunday.  The closest locations to park for
volunteering for GRTV are usually north of I-196 on Monroe, Ottawa or Ionia.  There is also usually some parking available to the East on top of the Michigan hill in between Lyon and Fountain, but this will obviously require walking down and up the Michigan hill.

Food and Drink

GRTV will have enough for two water bottles per volunteer per shift as well as snacks.  Volunteers will also have access to the
Festival of the Arts volunteer building which will be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner foods for free.

Bathrooms

Volunteers will get access to the Festival of the Arts volunteer bathrooms, conveniently located in the City Building.

Breaks

GRTV will have a staff person on hand at all times to ensure volunteers are getting enough food and water and to help coordinate breaks as needed.  If you are in need of a break, please notify your director so they can inform the staff person.  If at any time, due to heat, weather or health reasons, need to take a break and one has not been coordinated for you, do so, but please notify other volunteers via headset if possible.

First Aid

First aid facilities are located in the Grand Rapids City Building to the West of the Calder stage.
