Established in 1963, the Ann Arbor Film Festival is the oldest avant-garde and experimental film festival in North America. In 2022, the festival featured 37 programs with more than 150 films from almost 40 countries of all lengths and genres, including experimental, animation, documentary, narrative, hybrid, and performance-based works. This evening will feature a special selection of films from that festival. All filmmakers participating on the tour are paid to screen their work, providing direct support to these independent artists.

The Pickle Fort Film Collective, based out of Grand Rapids, specializes in experimentation with cinema, video, music, art, and 16mm film.

The Grand Rapids Film Society brings together local communities in celebration of the cinematic arts through thoughtful film programming and special events. Providing opportunities and experiences for exploring our shared love of cinema while also encouraging connection and collaboration.
