Try out our new web stream(s)!

Hey there, YCE web listeners! We've been having problems with our Real Audio web stream recently, so we're trying out some replacement options. If you ever try to listen by clicking the "Listen Online" link and you get a "file not found error", or if you're just interested in trying out a new sound, give one of these new streams a test.
Our friends at local Internet service provider Iserv are trying out a new audio streaming system for us, that will allow you to listen from a number of different programs (no more relying on the Real Audio player).
We're just testing things out for now, but we'd like to know what you think.
Click here for a CD-quality MP3 stream (requires a fast connection).
Click here for a lower bitrate stream (if clicking on the CD-quality stream causes excessive buffering, snags or drop-out)
When you click on the link, your computer will ask you what program you'd like to use to open the file. You can choose any media player capable of handling an MP3 stream (WinAmp, Windows Media Player, iTunes, etc.). If you aren't able to connect in that way, you can also choose the "Open URL" or "Open Web Stream" function found in most audio player software and enter the following addresses:
http://shoutcast.iserv.net:8000 (CD quality)
http://shoutcast.iserv.net:8010 (lower bitrate)
Let us know what you think! E-mail kevin [at] wyce [dot] org (replacing the [at] and [dot] with the appropriate @ and . symbols) and tell us how it sounds.
They're ready: FREE Jammies music downloads!

It took a bit longer than we expected to make it happen, but now it's here! Whether or not you made it out for WYCE's 9th Annual Jammies celebration at Wealthy Theatre, you have a chance to enjoy the music. Thanks to our sponsor, INDISTR.com, music from Jammies artists is available to download for FREE! Click here to listen to the tracks!
Note: Remember that these are live recordings; they have varying levels of volume and quality. If you have any questions about the tracks, send them to comment [at] wyce.org, not to the guys at INDISTR, whom we thank for the opportunity to make these available to you!

The sights of the Jammies

Thanks to Tim Motley of Motley Cat Studio for the continuing photographic support of WYCE.
The Jammies on Rapid Growth Media
Not only did this year's WYCE Jammies garner some positive attention in print and on TV, but we also got some nice coverage from the online media -- specifically our friends at Rapid Growth Media. Take a look at the video highlights they put together from this year's Jammies.
